We know that sustainable learning requires both receiving information and applying it. That is why at WWSSS’16, participants will consolidate their insights from tutorials and keynotes in project work, supervised by experts in the related fields.

Invited speakers and tutors include Jim Hendler, Noshir Contractor, Nuria Oliver, Stéphane Bazan, Nikolaus Forgó, Steffen Staab, Markus Strohmaier, Elena Simperl, Simon Köhl, and others. Beside working in teams, we will provide an inspiring and enjoyable environment with plenty of opportunities to connect with other attendees and established researchers in the field of Web Science. This includes a poster session where participants present their research and obtain feedback on it as well as several social events and an excursion with a boat trip to Marksburg castle a guided tour through a vineyard with wine tasting.
